Why should I stay at a vacation rental? Isn't a hotel just as good?
Typically, at a vacation rental, you will have much more space than a hotel room. You will also get more privacy, since it is your own home. Plus, at FTL Vacation Rentals, we want you to feel like you're in a home, not a hotel room. They are tastefully decorated with many features to help you feel comfortable.
Vacation rentals are also usually less expensive than a hotel because, for example, since it is a home or apartment, you can travel with more people staying in the same unit. So, you'll save money. We offer several units that are either 2 or 3 bedroom. All of our properties also have either a pull out coach or futon in the living room, too.
You will also save money on meal costs. Fixing your own breakfast everyday and eating a few lunches or dinners at home can save a bundle in both costs and calories. At FTL Vacation Rentals, all of our properties have full kitchens with full-size appliances and all utensils. Every unit has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.
You also don't have to pack as many clothes since every one of our properties has a washer/dryer. These are private washer/dryer units. You don't share them with anyone.
If you ever get a rainy day on your vacation, it is not likely you will want to stay cooped up in your hotel room, but at FTL Vacation Rentals, our properties all come with satellite TV, a DVD player, free high-speed internet access and more. So, you can actually stay inside and relax.
Why should I stay at a property by FTL Vacation Rentals? What is so different about yours compared to others?
All of our properties are located in Fort Lauderdale in an area called Lake Ridge. It is a very established and quiet neighborhood that is centrally located only 1.5 miles to the beach, about 1 mile to downtown Fort Lauderdale and the great shopping and restaurants on Las Olas Blvd and approximately 1 mile to the very hip "Island City," Wilton Manors.
All of our properties are in walking distance to restaurants and shops. You will also be able to walk to a huge grocery store (Publix), DVD rental store (Hollywood Video), 24 hour drug & convenience store (Walgreens), fast food (Burger King, Wendys and Arbys) and 24 hour coffee and doughnut shop (Dunkin Donuts.) The exquisite Galleria Mall is only 1 mile away.
Unlike other vacation rentals, we do not charge extra fees. No cleaning fee, no extra key fee, nothing. The only extra charge you will see is the required 11% sales tax that all legal vacation rentals and hotels must charge.
All of our properties also have some simple but important amenities such as an outdoor yard with furniture, beach towels for your visit to Fort Lauderdale's award winning beach.
Some other things you will not find at other vacation rental properties: comfortable queen size beds, ceiling fans in every room, central air conditioning (not window units), free local phone service and a welcome book to help you navigate your first few days in Fort Lauderdale.
